simply relevant:  A Relational Bible Study for Women

It’s coming soon, ladies, and you’re invited to “Taste and see that the Lord is good.”  Psalm 34:8

Are you ready for simply relevant?  Barb Young and Becky Price, the co-leaders of this women’s study group, are pretty excited about the new six-week session titled… wait for it… Chocolate Boutique!  (I know!  Can you believe it?)

This session is all about God’s grace.  Together, we will discover how richly and generously God indulges us with his love, his forgiveness and his grace.  Hmm?  Does that make you wonder? Are you asking yourself, “That sounds great, but how does chocolate fit into all that?”  Well, here’s the good part… even if you’re not a lover-of-chocolate, you are invited and encouraged to come and see!  Or, as the psalmist wrote, “taste and see.”

If you’ve never studied the Bible before, or if you’ve studied for years, this session will overflow with new insights and opportunities for you to learn about and even practice grace, with your friends, before heading home to “try out grace” on others.
Gather with other women on Thursday evenings (April 9 - May 14), 5:30 - 6:30 p.m., in Room 5, with a Bonus Activity tentatively scheduled for April 21.  (An “Early Bird” MM&M dinner is available at 5:15, too.)  You may be surprised what you'll learn together:
  • You'll hear about the surprising and extravagant extent of God’s love.
  • You'll talk about how forgiveness can transform our thinking and our relationships.
  • You'll learn how to celebrate and live in God’s grace every day.
  • You may even get to taste God’s goodness… in all its glorious dimensions and textures!
Remember, there's no pressure when you participate.  We know how busy everyone's lives can be.  Come when you are able.  Bring a friend, too.  (There’s always room at the table for one more!)  We completely understand when life keeps you busy on a Thursday night and, be assured, we will celebrate when you can be with us!

If you'd like to participate (read that as “taste and see”), please click here to register.  You may also register by calling the church office (610-987-6021), or adding your name to the sign-up sheet in the church lobby.

Is this your year to give it a try?  We hope so!
